In this STEMsters project, students will design and build a UV House to protect their “alien” from ultraviolet (UV) light using different materials. By testing UV-sensitive beads that change color in sunlight, students will explore UV radiation, photochromism, and material properties while discovering how engineers create structures and products that help keep people safe from harmful UV rays!
